Sr Four Lake-Lehman Tri-Hi-Y Girls | Are Delegates To U.N. Assembly The United Nations will be the subject of a special Youth and Government Citizenship Project in which Area Tri-Hi-Y girls will par- ticipate ‘during this school year. At a special State YMCA District United Nations Assembly held November 18 at Scranton two members of the Lake-Noxen Tri- Hi-Y Club and two members of the Lehman Tri-Hi-Y Club were chosen to represent the Nation of Afganis- tan in the State-wide Model United Nations Assembly scheduled in Harrisburg March 2 and 3. Kay Williams and Sandra Yellitz of Lake - Noxen Tri-Hi-Y Club and ‘Diane Moringstar and Carol Owens, Lehman Tri-Hi-Y Club, have been chosen to participate in this year’s Model United Nations Assembly. Kay Williams was also elected to serve as Chaplain. Between now and March, dele- 360 selected Senior Tri-Hi-Y girls from all over Pennsylvania. This is the seventh time the State YMCA ‘has sponsored the biennial United Nations Assembly for 'Tri-Hi-Y girls. On alternate years the ‘Y’ sponsors the Model Legislature for Senior Hi-Y boys as part of its state-wide Youth ‘and Government citizenship training program. An important part of the Model United Nations program is the i creation of U.
