Elizabeth Street, have announced
the’ birth of a baby girl,
25. They have a little boy, Herbert,
aged four. :
Mrs. Dreher is the former Janet
of Omaha, Nebraska.
Herb met her when he was in the
service. Herbert is son of Mr. and
Max Dreher of Park Street, Dallas.

Beverly Anne Crispell, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Crispell,
Harveys Lake, recently became the
‘bride of S. Ray Wandel, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter: 'Wandel, Noxen.
Rev. Donald Nulton, uncle of the
bride, ‘assisted by Rev. Norman: Tif-
fany, pastor of the Idetown Metho-
dist Church, performed the double
ring ceremony on June @ 3. Mrs.
George May was organist and Con-
nie Smith, cousin of -the groom,
soloist.
Given in' marriage by her father,
the bride wore a floor length gown
of white lace over ‘satin, featuring
a sequin and pearl sabrina neckline
and fitted bodice with long sleeves
tapered at the wrist. Her veil, of im-
ported bridal illusion fell from a
crown of orange blossoms and she
carried a white Bible marked with
a white orchid and lilies of the val-
ley.
Linda Grey, Harveys Lake, was
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Margaret McHose and Priscilla Wil-
liams, sister of the groom. Diane
Swinehart, Kirkwood, Pa., cousin of
the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Maid of honor wore a gown of
blue organza designed ' with lace
bodice, jewel meckline and long
sleeves. Bridesmaids were attired in
pink chiffon gowns designed with
lace bodices, bateau- neckline and
cap sleeves. Attendants wore head-
pieces of chiffon bows matching their
gowns ‘and carried colonial bouquets
of tinted carnations.
Jerry Talent, brother-in-law of the
groom, was best man. Ushers were
Arnold Williams, brother-in-law of
the groom and William Casterline,

chiffon street length dress
three-quarter length sleeves and
scoop neckline. She wore white ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink car-
nations. Mother of the bridegroom
selected a blue lace sheath dress
with white accessories and corsage
of pink carnations.
Following a reception at the church
parlors, the couple left for the Poc-
onos. :
The bride, a graduate of Lake-
Lehman High School and Wyoming
Seminary School of Business, is now
employed by the Shoemaker Adjust-
ment Agency in Wilkes-Barre. The
groom is also a graduate of Lake-
Lehman High School. He is employed
by the Commonwealth Telephone
Company in Dallas.

Also attending were Mrs. Harry
Gilbert and children, Marie, Sandra
and Douglas, Milford, Conn. who
were unaware that their home
had burned to the ground, leaving
them with only the clothes they
had with them.
The Gilberts had just built a car-
port and an extra bedroom on to
there home and in some unknown
manner the carport caught fire.
Flames spread through the ceiling
partitions to other parts of the
house. Mr. Gilbert, watching T.V.,
was unaware of the fire until fire-
men arrived. The Gilberts returned
to Milford on Sunday, leaving their
son, Douglas, with Mrs. Billow. The
newlyweds were expected to stop
off at Milford on their wedding
trip but left unaware that the Gil-
bert home had been destroyed.
