LEWIS, Atty. Dallas, Pa. Charles Wilkie Sutfers Fatal Heart Attack Charles Wilkie, 62, died Monday morning at his home on Dimmick Road in Noxen. Services will be conducted this afternoon at 2 from the Nulton Funeral Home, with burial - in Orcutt Cemetery. Rev. John Gordon pastor of Alderson- Noxen Methodist Charge, will of- ficiate. Mr. Wilkie suffered a fatal heart attack. Clearing walks after the blizzard had placed a strain upon a heart which had already been weak- ened by ‘a former attack. He had retired from employment at the Noxen Tannery some time ago, because of failing health. He had served for some years as con- stable of Noxen and was greatly liked by his neighbors, always cheerful and thoughtful. He was a member of Noxen Methodist Church. Mr. Wilkie was a native of Askam. He leaves his widow, the former Elsie Dutter; two children, Mrs. Betty Carey of Noxen, and Charles Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; two grand- children. Willard Gregory Dies After Heart Attack Willard G. Gregory, a sufferer for many years from multiple sclerosis, died in General Hospital Friday night, a few hours after admission with an acute heart attack. He was buried Monday afternoon in Marvin cemetery, Muhlenburg. Rev. Oscar Saxe officiated at services from the Bronson Funeral Home. A native of Muhlenburg, son of the late Edward and Euphemia Hartman Gregory, he followed the trade of carpenter, working with various construction companies until 1947, when increasingly handi- capped by his ailment, he retired. He was still able to drive a car. He had attempted to gain relief from his illness, but without success. High Mass Of Requiem Today For Anna Laincz A high mass of requiem will be celebrated this morning for a former resident of Harveys Lake, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services for Mrs. Anna V. Laincz, Warminster, are scheduled at St. John’s Church in Luzerne for 9:30. Mrs. Laincz died Sunday morning at her home. She had lived in Warminster for fifteen years. She was a native of Czechoslovakia, where a sister and brother still re- side. Mrs. Lucy Kline, 54, Buried At Orcutt Mrs. Lucy Kline, Noxen for the past ten years, was buried at Orcutt Cemetery Monday afternoon, following services con- ducted by Rev. Robert Sutton, pas- tor of the Independent Bible Church of Noxen, from the Nulton Funeral Home. Mrs, Kline, 54, died Thursday night at General Hospital, where she had been a medical patient since two days after Christmas. She was a native of Shickshinny, daughter of the late George H. and Catherine Case Titus. Lake Legion Post Plans Easter Egg Hunt At the February 7 meeting of Harveys Lake American Legion Post 967, Calvin Strohl was elected dele- gate to Pennsylvania State Conven- tion in July, with Kenneth Jackson as alternate. It was announced that the Post is now buying rifles from the Govern- ment for firing squad and color guard use.
