Y. Hotel Concord has one of the largest “ball rooms in the world, in fact, the stage of the ball room was so large that a cattle judging contest was ‘held on it. After the judging was over, (the guests enjoyed country style dancing to the tune of old time fiddlers. There were over 900 at the banquet. Mrs. Mary E. Sebolka was rushed to Nesbitt Memorial Hospital in Kingston Township Ambulance, last Monday night, suffering from a heart attack. She is feeling much better at the present time. Mrs. Mamie Miles is ill at home ‘and is under the care of her family physician. AT Claude Newhart, accompanied by | her two children, George and Penny, left for Florida to visit with his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Zayatz at Jack- sonville. Mrs, Newhart will return home with them. { Mrs. Lily Lord has returned home from Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. Her father, Harry Smith, who recently had his'leg amputated, returned to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Sun- day, his condition is listed as fair. Due to one of the trucks used in plowing the Township roads break- ing an axle last Saturday morning, the job of opening the roads was delayed. The Caterpillar Loader was pressed into service to open the roads where heavy snow drifts were too heavy for the plows to remove: Congratulations to Mrs. Ida Wil- cox who will celebrate her 83th birthday on February 16. Mrs. Wil- cox is living with her daughter and son-in-iaw, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snyder of West Dallas. Mrs. Wilcox is in failing health but is able to be up and around in her room. She would appreciate hearing from her friends. Theodore Jones returned to his home from the General hospital on Monday after undergoing a minor operation. His condition is good.
