Thursday twenty-one members of Tau Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma enjoyed a delightful covered dish luncheon and on Saturday eve- ning eight S. E. Pals of District 21 A. O. E S. and their husbands were guests of the Garingers for an outdoor barbecue, On Wednesday Mr. Albert Armitage and daughter, Jessie Beckerman, enjoyed an all day trip to Meshoppen to hunt woodchucks. Callers during the week at the Garinger-Armitage home were: Corey Ransom, Kingston, and Mr. and Mrs. Z. E. Garinger, Dallas. Harveys Lake was certainly booming with activities on Sunday. The picnic grounds, Sandy Bottom and Sandy Beach were very crowded with people, swimming and just en- joying the beautiful day. Boating and swim-= ming were enjoyed. The guest of honor was Brandon de Wilde, star of T. V. and movies. Also present were (Glenn’s brothers, Kenny, who has a role in the Broad- way play ‘J. B.”, and, Ronnie, who just completed a movie with Dick Clark in California. Some producers of Broadway plays along with celebrities known on stage and screen completed the guest list.
