On Monday, he and his wife and fourteen month old baby girl, left for Atlanta, Georgia, where he will study at the Chandler [School of Theology of Emory Un- iversity. Members of his three churches expressed their appreciation of his year and a half service by giving him a farewell party Wednesday night at Loyalville. Sunday School superintendents of the three churches spoke briefly, Elwood Ruckle for Maple Grove; Gilbert Ide for Loyalville, and Mor- ton Connelly for Meeker. Miss Bess Klinetob spoke of the esteem in which Rev. Brittain was held by his congregations, and Russell Steele, lay-leader at Meeker deplored the loss to the congregation and the community at large. Gilbert Ide made the presentation speach for a purse given by the three congregations. Refreshments climaxed a meeting of good fellowship which started with singing of favorite hymns and ended with old fashioned visiting and reminiscence. Rev.
