Rev. Ruth L. Underwood will officiate at 3:30. Clifford Wilkes, 19, came home yesterday by plane to Philadelphia, train to Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call at the Bronson Funeral Home this evening to pay their respects and offer sympathy to the family. Funeral arrangements, scheduled for early August, after finding of the body in frigid Alaskan waters near Fairbanks, were postponed because of the discovery that Clif- ford, who disappeared from his rooming house July 28, had not drowned, but had died by other means. A number of inquests fol- lowed the finding of his body Aug- ust 9. His death remains a mystery. Clifford, who went to Alaska with friends early in the summer to find work, had not been able to get em- ployment. He was an experienced workman, having been employed for three summers past at the Abood green tomato plant packing plant in Dallas. Friends with whom he had been staying in Fairbanks assumed that he was hitchhiking home and were not unduly alarmed. His sister, Marian, flying to Alaska to join her husband, Harry Sickler, arrived there a few days before she was called upon to help identify the body, recently found floating in the river. (Clifford is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rita Wilkes, wife of the late Claude Wilkes; sisters and brothers: Mrs. Marian Sickler, Harveys Lake, now in Alaska; Mrs. Carrie Yag- lowski, Mrs. Mildred Paschinski and Mrs. Lillian Shultz of Passiac, N. J.; Claude, Jr., Harveys Lake R. D., now in New Jersey; Mrs. Vera Spencer, Waterloo, N. Y.; Verne, Violet, Clarence and Keith, at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mina Harrison, Ruggles Hollow. ; Formerly Of Shavertown,, Dies In Dayton Ohiol, James J.
