Mr. and Mrs. Norman Oney, with children Deborah and Blaine, from Johnson City, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harvey, Woodlawn Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hazeltine, formerly of Dallas, announce the arrival in Sunnydale, California, of an eight pound baby boy, their fifth child. Frank Wayne was born Feb- ruary 18. Mr. Hazeltine is a chief petty officer in the Navy. = Leonard Harvey, Woodlawn Drive, returned home from General Hospital on Saturday, his lacerated arm still in a cast. He was badly injured by broken glass in an acci- dent last week, when he thrust his arm through a window at the Haz- ard plant. Tendons in three fingers had to be repaired. It will be some weeks before function is restored. Mrs. Clarence Boston, Swarth- more, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. W. B. Risley, Lehman Avenue, Dallas. Charles C. James, teacher in Pem- berton, N. J., spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Charles James of Jackson Street, Dallas. \ Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edwards have returned to their home at Huntsville after spending some time in Miami, Fla. Mrs. Harry Edwards Sr. took care of the children while they were gone. Mr. and Mos, Herbert Weiss, Birch Hill Lane, in Stowe, Vt. on a skiing trip. Mrs. Celia Rhoads Mulligan had as weekend guests her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Mulligan of State College. Mrs. Harry Hughey has returned to her home at Fernbrook after being a patient at Nesbitt Hospital for a week. Mr. and Mrs. George Murphy, Trucksville R. D. 1, have announced the birth of a baby girl at Mercy Hospital on February 26. Cards have been received from Mr. and Mrs. John Vernon, now living at Pompano Beach, Florida, saying “No more shovelling snow for the Vernons.” The Vernons are former Center Hill Road, Dallas, res- idents. Earl is with his wife, the former Shirley May of Outlet. On his re- turn to duty he will be transferred to the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Frank is staying with his family. Both boys are graduates of Lake- Noxen High School. Earl enlisted December 28, 1954, will be dis- charged in August. He expects to enter Electrical College in Indiana. Frank enlisted June 28, 1956. He has no plans for the future. Pfc. Victor Spaciano Arrives In Germany Mr. and Mrs. Sam Spaciano, Shag Bark Drive, Shavertown, have re- ceived word that their son, Pfc. Victor, has arrived at Bremer Ha- ven, Germany. A graduate of Westmoreland High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Army January 25, 1957, and took his basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He was later assigned to signal corps school at Fort Mon- mouth, N. J, and was graduated on January 25 of this year. around the first of the year. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cheney and family, Center Hill Road, Dallas, spent Sunday in Danville visiting William Iles. Dan Evans has returned to his home on East Center Street, Shaver- town, after being a patient at Gen- eral Hospital for four weeks as a result of a heart attack. He is get- ting along nicely. RUSSELL LAWRY AND FAMILY Rev. Milton MacKenney, while Rev. Lawry was serving as pastor there. Six weeks later the Lawrys were transferred to Pittston, later on to Oneonta. They have been serving in Dallas for two years. There are three children, Marcia, aged fourteen, a student at West- moreland High School; Barbara, fifteen months, and Ruth, aged four. Paul Clemow Improving Rev. Paul Clemow, Loyalville, is much improved. He was admitted to the medical service at Veterans Hos- pital last week. Present were Mrs. John Graves, Mrs. Peter Lincoln Home From Hospital Mrs. Peter Lincoln is home again at Chase after spending nine days in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital after fracturing two spinal processes in a fall downstairs in her own home. She is able to be up and about, though forbidden to walk up and down stairs for several weeks. She suffers considerable pain and dis- ability, but not as much as at first expected.
