For Modern Printing Try The Post Hanson Will Feature Nagy October 2th Steve Nagy, 43-year-old former National Individual Match Game Champion, will appear at Crown Imperial Bowling Lanes Saturday, October 12, and demonstrate the explosive power that has won him virtually every title in the book. An extremely explosive competi- tor when the chips are down, Nagy consistently draws the largest galler- ies because he is capable of going all the way at any time. When television discovered match bowling, Nagy pulled up its audience rating with a 300 game. It was not unnatural that the largest audience ever to witness a perfect game should see Nagy turn the trick. The thrill of watching a home- run slugger break up a baseball game in the last of the ninth inning, is not unlike witnessing Nagy come from behind in the last stages of a tournament, piling strike upon Legai— Notice is hereby given that pur- suant to the Non-Profit Corporation Law of 1933 the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County did, on Steptember 23, 1957, set October 14, 1957, at 11 o'clock A. The 600,000 reservoir tank, solid concrete and sunk deep in the ground, has been completed. Filled with water from two deep wells drilled by Dean Shaver, this res- ervoir will supply the high tank, stitution. Two heavy duty pumps have not yet been connected. Cell units, the first of the 2,000 cells which will be needed for the prison blocks, are being prefabricat- ed of reinforced concrete and as- sembled. . Brick work is progressing speedily on the warehouse, with thirty brick- layers on the job, and the building almost ready for its glass. All buildings will be brick with some stone trim, and modernistic in design, adhering to the two-story pattern. Anton Huminik, Harveys Lake, says over a million tons of rock were excavated for foundations, and that this phase is about completed. Not a day has been lost. As for cloudbursts, such as visited the area Sunday night, it would be im- possible for rain to wash out a road bedded on solid rock foundation such as the one he superintended. All it did was lay the dust and work strike to snatch victory from defeat. The most dramatic example of this came in the 1954-55 world match game championships. Trailing by an almost unbridgeable gap the last day Nagy needed to win all four games from the leader, Ed Lubanski, to claim the title. He did just that with a 236 average for the set. “Mr. Explosion,” a member of the famed Brunswick Advisory Staff of stars, is considered a bowler’s bow- ler whom other stars pause to watch in action. In a game which has captured the imagination of men, women and children, there is probably no more colorful figure than the genial, powerful pin toppler from Detroit. ANNOUNCEMENT James Monk Co. By December, 1958, buildings will be completed, but there will still remain to be done, the grading, seeding, and the completion of roads. The area where building is going on is so vast that it dwarfs the workers. Power shovels, cranes, mechanized equipment, look like toys from the five and ten.
