Pkg. 22° Corr— AL A nt : PAGE ELEVEN In Ballet Guild JANE GHAHAM Jane Graham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Graham, Shavertown, will dance in the Wilkes-Barre Bal- let Guild production tomorrow and Sunday, as one of the fairies of the woodland glade in ‘““Aurora’s Wed- ding,” the famous third act of the “Sleeping Beauty” Ballet of Tschai- kowsky. The children’s matinee at 2:15 to- morrow at the Irem Temple, will feature two ballets, “Aurora’s Wed- ding” and “The Seasons.” Sunday night's performance will show an additional ballet, a premiere of “The Sorceress,” an original ballet written by James Asp, in which Barbara Linshes Weisberger, choreographer, will dance the title role, supported by Ronnie Evans, of New York’s smash hit, “My Fair Lady.” Jane Graham has been dancing for three years. She has appeared in “Swan Lake” and the “Nutcracker Suite.” Dallas Marine Receives Amphibious Training Vieques, Puerto Rico (FHTNC)— Marine Pvt. Robert L. Barnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Barnes of Star Route, Dallas, is participating in extensive amphibious exercises in the Caribbean Sea area with Marine Amphibious Training Group 1-57. During March and early April the Group will conduct exercises at Vieques, Puerto Rico. : The latter part of April the Train- ing Group will become the 2nd Pro- visional Marine Air-Ground Task Force and will take part in Operat- ion “CARIB-EX”, a joint Marine Corps, Army, Navy and Air Force exercise in the Panama Canal Zone. On completion of the exercises, visits will be made to Caribbean ports before returning to the home bases. : Fleet Marine Force units partici- pating in the exercises are from the 2nd Marine Division and Force Troops, Camp Lejeune, N. C.; Mar- ine Aircraft Group-31, Miami, Fla.; and the 2nd Marine Air Wing, Cherry Point, N. C. Franconi, Thomas J. Jones and George Houck, all disinterested freeholders of Lackawanna County. Ralph Swan Wins Case Ralph F. Swan, Dallas R. D. 2, won his suit for $293.82 automobile damages against Carl Malishiski, West Nanticoke, last week. The col- lision occurred October 29, 1955 at Poplar and Mill Street, West Nanti- coke, when Milishiski allegedly drove through a red light. Attorney Robert L. Fleming rep- resented Mr. Swan.
