(Continued from Page 9) we'll have fun in any event. This sport is so rapidly becoming one of | the nation’s favorites that it makes our head spin. Young and old seem to enjoy it and are so enthusiastic about it. Even our young one is getting in training with, not one but two sets. And we can’t wait until he’s big enough to “beat the ears off us.” Which won’t be hard to do, | although we do see some improve- ment from time to time. Oak Hill was certainly a quiet spot on New Year's Eve—outside, that is. There were several open houses being held and other families | entertaining friends in smaller num- bers, but the noise was all inside. We are still enjoying our Christ- mas tree. (Just haven’t found the time to remove it). Fortunately for all concerned, it's one that can be planted when removed from the house, although we rather doubt its growing ability. Hmmmm! Can’t you almost smell spring in the air now that the holi- | days are over? Guess it’s just wish- ful thinking, but it does seem that the days are getting more spring- like. In fact, we're almost positive that spring is close because we can almost see the fishing equipment being brought from its resting place in the cellar and being given an inspection. And we do hear an oc- casional fishing tale. At least we won't be unprepared when it does come. Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall— Lk glad to be alive to enjoy them Notes of Interest Mr. and Mrs. John Heidig and sons, Jackie and Alan, have return- ed home after spending two weeks at 7 p.m.—Mrs. William Baker, Law- rence Updyke, Niles White and Ray- mond Kuhnert.
