ETC ATR Ts Mr. and Mrs. Harry Post, Cliffside Terrace, Trucksville, celebrated their thirty-fifth wedding anniversary on Christmas day with a family dinner at the home of their son and daugh- ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Post Jr., North Thomas Avenue, Kingston. Mrs. Post is the former Rose Boote, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boote of Trucksville. Mr. Boote was gardener at Hillside Farms for a good many years and up until his death a few years ago a devoted member of the White Church on the Hill, walking to ser- vices many Sundays even in his late years. Mr. Post is son of the late Mary Jane Post of Trucksville. The couple was married at the home of the bride on December 25, 1921, by the Rev. Joshua C. Brundle. There are two children, Harry Jr. who works for the Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company, and Jane, wife of Captain A. L. Morse, now station- ed at Colorado Springs; also five grandchildren, Harry's two boys, Frankie and Bobby, and Jane's three girls, Rosemary, Kathy and Martha. Mr. Post, now retired, worked in the composing room of the Wilkes- Barre Record for eleven years and for the Evening News and Times Leader for over thirty years. Since his retirement, he and his wife have been having fun, travel- ling by air to Alaska to wisit the Morses when they were stationed there and more recently to Colorado Springs to get acquainted with the Morses babies and do some fishing. Ce Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Cundiff, Maple- wood Avenue, Dallas, celebrated their thirty-first wedding anniver- sary Christmas eve with seven of their eight children and their fam- ilies. Gene who is serving with the U. S. Army at Biloxi, Miss., was unable to be with them. Mrs. Cundiff is the former Mar- garet Barnes, daughter of George and the late Lena Reading Barnes of Terre Haute, Indiana. Mr. Cundiff is son of Rose and the late Elbert Cundiff, also of Terre Haute. The couple was married in the United Brethren Church at Terre Haute and started housekeeping there. They came to Dallas twenty-six years ago and Mr. Cundiff started working as a miner for the Hudson Coal Com- pany. | Their children, all born in Dallas, are Beverly Pfleuger of Irvington, N. J., George of Newark, Thelma and Steve of Hatboro, Joan of Tunk- hannock, Edwin, Orangeville, all married; Marian, student at College Misericordia, Ronald, student at Westmoreland High School and Gene of Biloxi. There are ten grand- children. Besides taking care of her family and managing a well run house, Mrs. Cundiff works at Natona Mill every day. Mr. Cundiff is still with the Hudson Coal Company, Marian handles the cash register at Hislop’s Store in her odd times, and Ronald works at Denmon’s Cities Service after school. All the Dallas Cundiffs are active members of the Huntsville Christian Church. The ceremony will be performed tomorrow morning at 9:30 in St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
