Alfred Bronson and Edgar Lashford, both members of the joint school board, will collaborate with John Arm- strong and Joe Ellsworth, instruc- tors, and Bob Disque, Panky Stolar- ick, and Dick Kern, against a team of Future Farmers: Russell Major, Ray Harned, George Yurko, Rafael Rodriguez, Joe Schneiderite, Jack Kern, Bruce Varner, and Kenneth Coombs, Kenneth Button, Ed Sto- larick, Myron Moss. Standing-room-only is already at a premium for seeing eight little donkeys set their rubber-shod hooves firmly and refuse to budge on the gym floor, or ‘back up un- expectedly, or stampede toward the bleachers. According to rules of the game, a player may dismount to re- trieve a ball, but he must keep his hand on the reins. Any player shooting a basket must be mounted in order for the goal to qualify. A referee tosses up the ball from the middle of the floor, blows a whistle, and from then on it’s a clam-bake, with no holds barred. A varsity-alumni game will pre- cede the donkey basketball, as a fitting wind-up to the winter season.
