> Two Teams Tied a For Top Place Shavertown And Dallas In Lead Knecht’'s and Tom Reese's four bingles and Glen Robert's three left no room for doubt. Shavertown-Carverton Russ Hons hurled Shavertown to a much-needed 7-2 victory over Car- verton Sunday. Aided by home runs by Billy Metzger and Ralph An- thony, Hons coasted to the win allowing but seven hits and two runs, Metzger and Anthony were the siege guns for Shavertown as Anthony collected a double to go with his homer and Metzger a single to add to his four-bagger. Orange-East Dallas Harry Martin was in complete charge of the game as Orange tumbled East Dallas 4-2. Martin fanned 12° men and walked but three in hurling his five-hitter. Hitting like Jim Pilar To Post (Continued from Page One) — domestic grave reflection upon habits. : : The view from the attic window compensates for much pulling and hauling ‘of trunks and cradles. Far above the lesser trees there is a gap between the mammoth white pines and the immense oaks, and a hill and an orchard are on parade from the narrow window. The sun-, warmed heat, dust-motes dance in a ray of sunshine, a sudden shower comes up and there is the patter of rain just overhead. The attic is the nicest room in the house.
