Rotary Hears Talk on Fire Hemmelright Award Winner Announced Dallas Rotary Club, meeting last night at Irem Temple Country Club, enjoyed a fine program on Fire Pre- vention Week, under the direction of James Besecker. Prior to the pro- gram, a business meeting was held and committee reports given. Charles W. Lee, club president, pre- sided. It was announced that the Frank L. Hemmelright Memorial Award will be presented to Howard W. Risley, editor and publisher of The Dallas Post, at a joint meeting of all Back Mountain organizations next Thursday evening, October 14, at Irem Temple Country Club. Presentation will be made by Rev. Frederick W. Reinfurt, general chairman of the Memorial Commit- tee At Rotary Meeting last week, an unusual program was presented by Dr. Vincent Gallizzi, ear, eye and nose specialist and a member of Pittston Rotary, who was intro- duced by Attorney William Valen- tine. He gave an inspiring talk on the international political situation. Dr. Gallizzi has been recognized as an authority on this subject, and he held his audience.spellbound as he marshalled fact after fact which gave every member a clear picture of the political problems confront- ing the world’s statesmen today.
