Ted Hinkle who submitted to an emergency appendicitis operation at Nesbitt Hospital has returned to his home in Shavertown. Irving Miller who is employed at Elmira, N. Y. has been spending the past two weeks at his home on Main street, Trucksville. Claude Shaver has been ill at his home on Cemetery street. Mrs. Ralph Hallock has been in at her home on Lake street this week. Mrs. F. M. Gordon and Mrs. Flor- ence Phillips of Norton avenue spent last week at Buffalo, N. Adolph Scureman, gentle German Shepherd dog of Mr. and Mrs. Mur- ray Scureman of Huntsville road, has taken up new residence at the home of Dr. and Mrs. E. R. Kemp on the Wilkes-Barre Mountain. Brown of Lehman will be married to Juan Ferre of New Rochelle, N.Y. this month. Have New Baby Girl Mr. and Mrs. William Templin of Lake Norden, S. D. announce the birth of an eight and a half pound baby girl, Linda Lucille, at Luther Hospital, Watertown, S. D. Wednes- day, December 10. This is the Templin’s first child. Rockefeller, Jr. While in the city they were guests at the Williamsburg Inn and toured several of the buildings that have been restored or reconstructed as they were two centuries ago when this city was the capital of Eng- land’s largest and wealthiest Ameri- can province, the Virginia Colony.
