Allen listed among the graduates in this year’s class at Girard Col- lege, Philadelphia. Bob is the son of the late Robert Allen, for many years foreman at Oliver's Garage. His mother, now Mrs. Silas Long, is a resident of Wilkes-Barre. Following in his father’s footsteps, young Bob was a leader among fellow students at Girard. He was a member of the band and orches- tra and in his senior year became a lieutenant in both these organ- izations. He sang in the Glee Club and was its librarian. He was out- standing in’ basketball and several minor intra-mural sports. Mrs. Nesbitt Sutliff is mourning the death of her mother, Mrs. Eliz- abeth Lamoreaux of Kingston. Lieut.
