Brobst Addresses Parents, Teachers F Récord Attendance At Borough Meeting Tuesday i SAN record-breaking attendance esti- mated at 150 ‘persons heard Attorney Albert Brobst, Wilkes-Barre school di- Parent-Teacher Association on Tues- day night. Mr. Brobst’s subject was The Child’s Triangle, School, Church, and Home. ~ James Ayre, president, presided. Miss Lola Pittman sang two solos, accom- panied by Mrs. William Baker. ~The entertainment was provided by ‘pupils from the third and fourth grades who sang several selections and also gave an entertaining Town Circus, in custom. A feature of the circus was the tap dancing of Janet Garinger. Attendance honors went to the third x grade, Miss Marian Barney, teacher. Principal Calvin McHose spoke ‘briefly, asking the attendance of the parents at the next Anthim- Assembly Forum presentation which wiill be held day afternoon at 2:30. On this occasion, Frank P. Douglas will give his exciting story of the great Klondike gold rush. Mr. McHose also spoke of the Booster the benefit of the high school ateletic @ssociation. “At the close of the meeting, refresh- ments were served to those present by the refreshment committee. Mrs. Charles Stookey and Mrs. Laverne Race were assisted by Miss Hill and Miss Patterson and the parents of children from the first and twelfth grade.
