If our school directors, council, or other borough officers are using their offices at any time to a disadvantage to the taxpayers, this paper reserves the right and will. positively use it, to call the attention to the taxpayers, if such is the case. - We commend the present school board for the building of this school, and say in connection that it should have been started much earlier. We, of course, do not agree with the ar- chitect’s plans in every entirety but that is only a matter of personal opin- ion. . : We wouid suggest that immediate attention be given to improved heat- ing in the old building for on cold days, several of the rooms do not be- come heated until mid-morning. The little tots in the first grade, who have to go in the morning, some- times find it a little cold on their ar- rival. : However, we think that the major- ity of the board have the school dis- trict entirely at heart and working as hunmanly as possible to remedy all these defects. : ey) 3 Sheriff’s Sale SATURDAY, SEonuAnY 23, 1929, AT 10 A.
