Recent Deaths Mrs. Gwen Price Mrs. Gwen - Hadley - Mitchell Price died at her home in Bak- erton~ last Wednesday. She was born in Wales and had resided in this country for many years. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Baker- ton Methodist Church, with bur- ial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Julia Sodmoni Mrs. Julia Sodmont, 54, wife of Louis Sodmont and a well- known resident of Hastings, ex- pired at the Miners’ Hospital at 3 p. m. last Thursday. She was born in Belgium on July 9, 1893, Jr, Jule and, Virginia Sodmont, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conduc- ted at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Has- tings Methodist Church by Rev. J. Eldon Matlock, pastor. Inter- ment was in the Union Cemetery. Mrs. Carrie Adams Mrs. Carrie Adams, aged 76, died on Monday evening at her home in Susquehanna Township. She was born Dec. 31, 1871, dau- ghter of John and Nancy (En- gle) Dunlap. Her husband, Gid- eon Adams, is dead. Surviving are the following children: Ar- thur J., Lockport, N. Y.; John M.,, ron, Ohio; Blair and Wade Ad- ams and Mrs. Nannie Collins, Bar- nesboro; Mrs. Gladys Penrod, Ba- kerton; Edward, Twin Rocks, and Mrs. Geraldine Davis, Cleveland.
