Thursday, July 3, 1047 Colver By Verna Bokoch & Anne Sabo Miss Rose Milkovich Is Bride Here Saturday Miss Rose Milkovich and Mike Juba were united in marriage at a beautiful double-ring ceremony performed by Rev. John Levkan- jck in the Holy Ascension Greek Catholic Church on Saturday of last week, June 28. Miss Mary Juba served as maid of honor and Mrs. Victoria Milko- vich was matron of honor. Pete Stefanchick served as best man. The bride was attired in a white gown with long train and a finger-tip veil. She carried a bou- quet of white roses and sweet- peas. The matron of honor wore a pink net gown with matching headpiece and a corsage of red roses. Miss Juba wore a blue sat- in gown with matching headpiece and carried red roses. Margaret Walivro, Mary Koz- ickie, Carolyn Prokup, Margaret Yanoskg and Helen Juba served | as bridesmaids and were attired: in blue, rose, yellow and pink taf- | feta and net or satin gowns with matching headpieces and cor- | sages. Nick Juba, Arthur Cam- | eron, Harry Juba, George Sichko and George and John Milkovich were ushers. After the ceremony, the bridal party, pictures were taken Cresson, and the bridal bouquet was caught by Mary Kozickie. A dance and reception also were held. The couple will reside in Col- ver, where the groom, a World War II veteran, is employed by the Ebensburg Coal Co. * * * Pretty Wedding Saturday At Holy Family Church Miss Julia Berkosky and Orian Spicher were married on June 28 at a pretty ceremony in the Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev. Father John Gura officiated at the double-ring ceremony and the | nuptial mass at 9 a. m. | Given in marriage by her bro- ther, John Berkosky, the bride | had Mrs. Anna Herman as her | matron of honor. Edward Herman was best man. Bridesmaids in- cluded Katherine Hresko, Anna Kutchman and Katherine Berkos- ky. Ushers were Andy Berkosky, John Yendzik and Edward Gero- skie. A reception was held in the | Sons of Italy Hall, a large num- ber of friends and relatives being in attendance. Judy Mastrini Honored On Birthday Anniversary A birthday party was held in honor of Judy Mastrini on June 26 at the home of her parents. It was her 5th anniversary. She re- ceived many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Metro Tishock are the proud parents of a baby born in the Colver Hospital. The dance held for the benefit of the Colver Baseball Team was a great success.
