PAGE EIGHT ORDINANCE NO. 56 CHANGE OF LINES & GRADES An Ordinance Approving and Establishing the lines, grades, drainage, structures and all other structures appearing on the plan of the Department of Highways of the Commonwealth of Pennsyl- vania, showing Proposed Improve- ment on Main Street and an Un- named Street in the Borough of Carrolltown, Pennsylvania; Adopt- ing the said plan as the Official Borough Plan for said streets and providing for the removal of non- utility structures. WHEREAS, The Department of Highways has submitted to the Borough Council of Carrolltown Borough a plan showing the pro- posed construction and change of lines and grades of a portion of State Highway Route No. 62 on Main Street and an Unnamed Street, from Station 559+11.50 to Station 582-+-86.00 a distance of 2,374.50 feet, as shown by the said plan prepared and submitted by the Department of Highways, approved March 13, 1947, by the Chief Engineer of the Department of Highways. SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Borough of Carroll- town and it is hereby enacted and ordained by authority of the same, that the lines, grades, drainage structures, and all other structures shown on the plans prepared and submitted by the Department of Highways as afore- said, be, and the same are ad- opted, and are hereby enacted and ordained as and for the true and grades, drainage lines, other structures proper and structures, of and for Main Street and the |-— Unnamed Street, as shown on the said plan, which is hereby adopt- ed as the Official Borough Plan for the said Streets. SECTION 2. The Borough here- by assumes responsibility for the removal of all non-utility struc- tures where necessary for the opening or improvement in accor- dance with the aforesaid plan. SECTION 3. The President of the Borough Council and the Burgess are hereby authorized to express the approval of the Borough to the change of lines and grades of the aforesaid State Highway Route, by affixing their signatures, and the Borough Seal to the said relocation plan. SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith be and the same .are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its approval as provided by law.
