He had been serving with medical detachment in France. E. | Holmer, vice pastor. Pfc. James C. George left for Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., on Wednes- day, after spending a 45 day fur- lcugh with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul George. Pfc. George, who spent nine months overseas, was a machine gunner in the Fifth Ranger Battalion of Gen. Patton's Third Army. He saw action in Italy, France and Belgium and had his left foot wounded while fight- ing in Metz last November.
