I. A. A. eliminations. Barneshoro started out by taking the first two frames by 11-8 and 10- 6 margins to hold a 21-14 lead at the half time. In the third quarter two of the Barnesboro regulars were ejected on personal fouls, with Homer City tak- ing advantage of that break to take the third frame 17 to 8 and the lead going into the final frame 31-29. Center Joe Roman was the spark- plug for Barnesboro, registereing 15 points. His baskets in the final quar- ter turned the tide in his mates favor. The first quarter was played on even terms ending 7-7, but Coalport moved ahead in the second quarter to lead 19-16 at the half. Coalport continued to advance this lead in the third quarter which ended 30-22 and took the final stanza by a 10-4 mar- gin to cop the victory 40-26. Forward Freddy Milanesi, playing a stellar game for Patton, accounted for 16 points to lead point-makers, but his individual record was not enough to lead the local cagers to victory. I. A. A. finals. Huntingdon High also defeated State College 38-33 for its 24th con- secutive win this season and the two winners will clash Friday on the Huntingdon High floor to determine the representative in the state play- offs. Johnstown led the entire route ex- cept for the first foul shot which was made by Brancatto for Barnesboro to open the game. Then Johnstown piled up 18 straight points with the first quarter ending 19-3 and at the half-time 31 to 4. With the reserves on the floor in the second half, Johnstown led 40 to 11 at the end of the third quarter and the final quarter went to Barnes- boro 9-7 to end the game 47-20. I. A. A. eliminations. Heilwod had trouble getting started in the first quarter and had only a 5-3 lead at the end of the quarter. In the second period they scored 10 points, while holding Plumville score- less to take the first half 15-3.
