Y., for the past 12 weeks, has been assigned to the Quartermaster School Command in New York, where he will receive an 18 weeks’ course in navigation and other duties connected with his new assignment. Seaman Smale graduatea from Patton High School in May and enlisted in the Navy on August 1st 1944. A brother Ronald A. Smale, ART, 2-c, is now an instructor at the Fleet Airborne Radar School at Quonset Point, R. I, Mrs. Lucy Cooper, of Patton, an- nounces the mariage of her daughter, Colletta. Mary Cooper of McKeesport, Pa., to Robert Aloysius Swope of Patton, on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23rd, at St. Peter’s Church, McKees- port, the Rev. Patrick J. O'Connor officiating.
