ASHVILLE Last Thursday evening, a very large crowd attended the school play Min. strel and Commencement exercises held in the St. Thomas Church hall Everyone seemed to enjoy the eve- ning very much. The graduating class were as follows: Esther Hollern, Alma Colbert, Anna Benevait, Mary Hanc- herick, Anna Maire Chuirdon, Leroy Johnson, Paul McKinney, Edward Kawolzki, and Robert Krug. Leroy Johnson in behalf of the graduating class paida fitting tribute to the good Sisters and Father Denny for the interest shown in the educa- tion and also to the whole school, he also thank the general public for their attendance. Father Peters gave a very fine address heasked the graduating clas to keep on with their education. Memorial Day the American Legion of Cresson attended the Memorial Services at the St. Thomas Cemetery, to decorate the graves of the deceased Soldiers. Rev. I. J. Denney transacted busi- ness in Ebensburg Monday afternoon. R. . Gauntner of Altoona was a bus- ines caller in town, Monday.
