In the State Commercial Contest held at Indiana May 11th the Patton High School team made a fine show- ing. Of all the high school represent- ed in the state, Patton ook eighth place, Punxsutawney taking first Roch- ester second, Latrobe, third, Irwin four- th, Sharon fifth, Altoona sixth, and Kittanning seventh. Patton took a place ahead of all the neighboring towns except Altoona; Cresson tok- ing twenty-first place, Johnstown twen- th-seventh, Carrolltown thirty-third Barnesboro forty-sixth and Hastings forty-seventh.
