The High School Bulletin Editor in-Chief, Lucile Deible. I A great effort Is bAtg made to bring Dr. Nathan C. Shaeffer, State Superln tondent of Public Instruction, to Keyn oldsville to preach the Baccalaureate Sermon to our eradnatltiu class. With both Dr. Charles Thwlnjr and Dr. Sbaef fur here for commencement we will indeed bo highly favored. Dr. Thwinp; is president of Western Reserve University and of Aldobert College, Cleveland, Ohio, and one of the foremost educators of to-day. He id greatly sought after by colleges and universities for lectures. Big things are brewing for commence ment week. Miss Maude Alice Pratt will be vale dictorian and Miss Ida Williams salut atorian of the class of '00. These students having the highest class average. Prof. Elliot began Monday to train the Juniors for the annual Junior Con- tost. With the fine material which is in the class this year and the training of Prof. Elliot, there is no doubt that there will be an excellent contest. One of the Junior girls wants a high collar. I don't know why. Too many colds in High School j you'll have to cut out those walks between eleven and two o'clock. Another victory was added to our list last Friday night when our High School basket ball team defeated the team from Indiana High School. The score was 39-2. Save your pennies to buy chewing gum. Again please. Excuse mo ? Did I hear you say camphor was good for such things ? Puritan style Is being introduced into the high school. A few have the "Means" to do it. Your shoes are muddy Freshle. Where's that play Seniors ? Why is it that one Junior knows so much ot the Freshmen's affairs ? Beechwoods Commencement. The Washington township high school commencement will be held in the Boech woods Presbyterian church Wednesday evening, April 11, and the township entertainment will be hold at the same place, Friday evening, April 13th. The baccalaureate sermon will be de livered by the Reverend Goo. Hill, Sunday, April 8th. The Senior class will be the largest class that has ever graduated from the high school, being thirteen In number, At present the members of this class are busy preparing for final examina tions before the County Examining board and writing orations and original productions. The township commencement is the first thing of the kind that has ever been held in the district. Each of the twenty schools will be represented by a performance of somo kind in this enter tainment. - Great interest is shown in both the high school and township commence ments and Indications are that they will be equal, if not superior, to anything of the kind ever held in the district. The Falls Creek orchestra, consisting of seven pieces, will furnish -the music for the high school commencement and the brass band from the same place, consisting of fifteen pieces, will furnish the music for the township entertain ment. Falls Creek Herald. Human Blood Marks. A tale of horror was told by markB of human blood in the borne of J. W. Wil liams, a well known merchant of Bac, Ky. He writes : "Twenty years ago I had severe hemorrhages of the lungs, and was near death when I began tak ing Dr. King's New Discovery. It completely cured me and I have re mained well ever since." It cures Hemorrhages, Chronic Coughs, Settled Colds and Bronchitis, and is the only known cure for Weak Lungs.
