New Ballot! Next Tuesday.
The voters will have a new form of

The old ballot had a separate column
for each party which made nomination,
but on the new ballot the names of all
candidates for one office will bo printed
under the name of that ofllco. For In
stance, under the heading of "State
Treasurer," all candidates for that office
will be printed. The name of the can

the party which nominated him. At
the right of this party name will be a
small square. If two or more parties
bave nominated the same man for the

which nominated him will be printed
at the right of bis namo. At tho top
of each ballot there will be printed In
large lotters the names of the dlfTorent
parties which have made nominations,
and a largo square will be at the right
of each party name. If you want to
vote a straight ticket you will put a
cross In tho big square at the right of
tho party name and that will be count
ed for tho whole ticket. But If you
want to cut your ticket you put a cross
In the small square at the right of the
name of the man (or whom you want to
vote. Don't put your' cross In the big
square at the top and In the little
square at the l ight of each candidate ;
If you do Ui Ib, nellhor ono will count.

Advice to Hunters.
During the hunting season while the
woods are more or less Inviting to a
goodly number of people It la woll to
remember a number of things. You
should make It your business to always
crawl over a fence with the muzzle of
the gun toward you. Then should any
thing catch on the trigger the news
paper man will have something Interest
ing to write about the next week. If
you see anything move la the brush
you want to fire right away. Of oourse
It may be another hunter but you can
call around In tho morning and explain
to bis widow that you thought It was a
pheasant. She will probably think you
are a bird . Always leave the hammer
of your gun tip If you have anybody
with you. If It should fall your friend
will probably catch the ammunition In
bis back before it goes far. You can
then pick the shot out at leisure.

Jeffetson County's Centennial.
The year 11)04 will bring the one
hundreth anniversary of the organiza
tion of Jefferson county and If the event
Is to be fittingly celebrated, as It should
bo, It would suom that early agitation
of tho subject should be begun. Every
community In tho county ought to be
Interested in a celebration which would
bring to the attention of the outside
world the advantages possessed by
sturdy Jefferson and if the citizens of
the county seat (which Is, of oourse, the
logical point at which to hold the anni
versary oelnnratlon) will but bestir
themselves curly we have no doubt but
Hint the hearty co-operation of all
sections will bo secured and a celebra
tion of fitting magnitude be given.
There Is no reason why such an affair
should be local in any sense of the word,
as every borough and township In the
county has some thing of his tor lo
lutoreBt which would add totbegeneral
result. Falls Creek I braid.

Millionaires' Poor Stomach.
The worn-out stomach of the over-fed
millionaire Is often paraded In the pub
lic prints as a horrible examplo of the
evils attendant on the possession of
great wealth. But millionaires are not
tbe only ones who are afllictod with bad
stomachs. Tbe proportion Is far great
er among the tollers. Dyspepsia and
Indigestion are rampant among these
people, and they suffer far worse tor
tures than tbe millionaire unless tbey
avail themselves of a standard medicine
like Green's August Flower, which has
been a favorite household remedy for
all stomach troubles for over thirty
five years. August Flower rouses the
torpid liver, thus creating appetite and
Insuring perfect digestion. It tones
and vitalizes the entire system and
makes life worth living, no matter what
