New York, May 15. In the l'ro-

Hev. Dr. Charles A. IlrlgRs, who wbh

of the Episcopal church. He was or

with people, and the ceremonies wero

excitement, and no protost was filed
at the beginning, during or at tho
close of tho ordination.
Tho ceromonles wero very long,
commencing at 10:30 o'clock and con

anything, the services were hurried a
little, and tho goncral communion
which followed tho communion of tho
postulants or candidates tended to ox

There was a large crowd about the

Ulshop Potter drove to tho church
with tho candidates for admission,
Rev. Dr. Charles A. Brlggs and Rev.
Dr. Charles A. Snedeker. Before the
ceremony Bishop Potter said he had no
notice of protest, and had received no
protest. He smiled at the thought of
any of tho objecMng clergymen ap

scene. Ho, however, said that he had
received a letter from a layman pro

Brlggs, and ob this letter was written
under a misapprehension of the facts
and law he had answered. He did not
desire to give the name of tho lay
man, who, ho said, was high up in tho
councils of the church. Inasmuch as
the letter ho himself had written in
answer to it was general In Its nature

Snltito Our Admiral.
Washington. May 15. Admiral Dew-
oy's home coming by way of the Med
iterranean is nxeiy to give occasion
for distinguished honors from the
nnvlM of Bumps, most of them being
represented by oxtenalve squadrons In
thos watei i. and some of tnem nav-
ln their chief naval stations at Med
iterranean ports. Already Ambassa-
lor Cambon. of Franee. has called tho
mention of the authorities at Paris
lo tho return of Admiral Dewey by
Way of the Mediterranean and tho
probable salting of his flagship Olym
pla past tha French naval ports at Al
giers. These ate opposite tho Urltlsh
possessions of Gibraltar and Malta, at
the entrance to tne Mediterranean, and
nre oasy and natural stopping places
along that routo. It Is hardly oxpectil
that the admiral will touch at Toulon,
the great naval depot of France. At
tho ports of French Algiers ne win
be accorded every honor due not only
to his high rank, but to the universal
esteem In which he Is held by the naval
fraternity.
The Urltlsh authorities have taken
no Bteps thus far to havo tho admiral
stop at Urltlsh portB, but it was stated
today by one of the British official i
that Dowey would be assured a most
enthusiastic greeting if he stopped at
any Urltlsh station. In the evettt that
the admiral can be Induced lo stop in
Rngland en route home, It Is said that
he will probably me met at Aden or
Port Said by a Drltlsh escort.

of womankind are cured if you put the
feminine organism into healthy, vigorous

to involve these delicate organs and so no
matter what the symptoms may be it is
best to look there for the real trouble.
