Preparations for the landing of a large force of native Cu bans at some point In Cuba within convenient reach of CSeneral Oomez's unny are being pushed as fast as pos sible. How large n force tlieie will be Is as yet uncertain. The Cuban recruiting; olllces that have been opened here are fairly over whelmed with applications for enlist ment, and It is very probable that close to 1,500 men will be armed and ready for service under the banners of Gomez before the end of the week. Most of the Cubans who are now In the West Tampa camp have already had con siderable military training. Their num ber Is beine constantly increased by arrivals from New York, Jacksonville and other recruiting points.
