HollorTlint a Mnu Wns Spiked to tho 1'rnok and l.oft to Moot Dentil. Chicago, Dec. 10. Evidence which In dicates that a murder has been com mitted somewhere between Chicago and Denver on the Chicago and Alton railroad was found yesterday on the top of the front trucks of a' Pullman Bleeping car shortly after Its arrival In Chicago. It was a human foot, ap parently that of a man, and a long blender spike penetrated the large toe. The foot, which had been torn off above the ankle, was bare and mutilated. T.lgaments which had been torn frpm the upper pprtlon of the limb, and res plained attached to the foot In dls memborment, were twisted around the bloodstained trucks of the sleeper. The police believe that a man had been tied to the railroad traolc, his feet spiked to the ties, and that he had then been loft to meet certain death under the train. There was no blood on the engine, which, the railroad men say, proves thu the accident, or murder, as the case n.ay be, occurred west of BlnomliiKton, as a change of engines id made at that point.
