Tho Observance of tho fiftieth anni versary of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, which occurs on Decem ber 10th, will be general throughout the Jurisdiction of the organization. Almost every one of the six hundred und sixty catups In this state are making extensive preparations to celebrate in an elaborate und appro priate mannor. In the larger towns and olties.havlng a number of camps, arrangements are being made to hold a joint celebration on an extensive scale. Thare are three camps of the order located 1b Shenandoah, and at least one or two of them will appropri ately celebrate this important event. It might not be out of place to sug gest the joint celebration in the nature of a publio meeting. It 'would be both entertaining and in structive to the members us well as to those notidentifled with the organ ization. The order has eertainly had a hif. tory of fifty years of glorious achieve ment, nnd practical work well ren dered and duty religiously per formed. It points with pardonabl pride to the proud record it estab lished -farltself during the war of the rebellion. Among thoge who com prised the llrst Ave companies of volunteers to reach "Washington were 'many members of the order, and the enlistment continued until almost the entire membership of the order in the entire country were at the front lighting for the preservation of the Tinioft, and many hundreds gave their lives a willing sacrifice upon the altar of their country to save it from lia- divided. 51eueral was the enlistment that IlL. of all the many camps then ' maintained its organization. This report was later denied, but a dissolution of the chamber ot deputies now seems Inevitable. In the chamber Dr. Herrera y Obes made a violent attack upon Benor Cues tas, who assumed the presidency of the republic ad interim on the assassina tion of Benor J. Idlarte Dorda, who was Bhot by Arrendonde during the national fete on Aug. 26 last. On Sept. 20 Senor Cuestas issued a declaration of policy, promising to conduct the administra tion with strict economy, to purge the public departments, especially the de partment of customs, and religiously to pay the Interest on the public debt. At that time he expressed the hope that the department of customs would yield at least 5,000,000 francs monthly. Yesterday Dr. Herrere. Obes called upon him for a more explicit statement as to his program In the event of his election aB president. Senor Eduardo McEachen, minister of the government, refused to reply, where upon Dr. Her rera Obos presented a motion demand ing the resignation of the president of the republic ad Interim. It Is said that If this motion is adopted by the depu ties Senor Cuestas will dissolve the chamber. People who have suffered for years or months from the pain and inconvenience of that common disorder, piles, will look with skepticism upou the claims of the makers of the new discovery for cure of all forms of piles, known under the name of Pyramid Pile Cure; nevertheless the extraordinary cures performed by this remedy are such as to warrant the investigation of any sufferer. As a case in point the following letter speaks for itself. Mr. Henry Thomas of sub-station No. 3 Hosack Ave., Columbus, Ohio, writes as follows : Pyramid Drug Co : Gentlemen : I want you to use my name if it will be of any use to you, I was so bad with the Piles that I lost work on that account. Nothing did me any good, I read In Cin cinnati of the many cures of piles by the Pyramid Pile Cure and I went to a drug More and asked for it. The drug clerk told me that he had something else that he thought was better, but I told him that I wanted to try the Pyramid first. The first box helped me so much that I tried another and then to complete file cure used t o more boxes, making four in all. I am now completely cured. Have not a trace of piles and I hid suffered for four years with the worst form of protruding piles. I suffered death from piles, but I hare Pound the Pyramid Pile Cure to be just as represented.
