Mr. Brown said that the cost of deporting Chinamen has been very great, and has been on the Increase, which Is also the case with the smuggling of the Chinamen. The government, Mr. Brown says, lays the blame for the greater part of the Illicit traffic on the employes ot the Canadian Pacific rail way, and Attorney General McKenna, it is stated, will Institute an action against the corporation. The govern ment avers, according to Mr. Brown that the railway employes conspire with the government officials to break the law.
