Judgo Bechtel has experienced considerable difficulty in secur ing tho assistance of Judges outside of the county. After writing to nearly two dozen judges, he finally secured Judgo Archibald, of So'imton, to asiist him for tho first week. It is expected the May term will bo a busy one. Thus far over 175 now cases have been returned to the District Attorney for the term, and during the present vveok many more will he tent in. Tho Van Valkeuberg case will go over until the June term, several of tbe counsel iu the case having uther engagement. Bills uf indictment have been drawn by the District Attorney against the almshouse directors on the streugtii of the preseutuient to the court by the last Grand Jury.
