It Is npon this principal that a resident of Kalamazoo, Mich., desires to send free to mankind a prescription which will core them of any form of nervons debility ; relieves tlieniwf all the doubt and uncertainty which such men are peculiarly liable to and restores the "vgans to natural size and vigor. As it costs 'nothing to try the experiment it would i seem that any man, nuenng wiin ine nervous troubles that usually attack men who never stopped to realize what might be the final result, ought to he doeply interested in a remedy which will restore them to health, strength and vigor, without which they continue to live an existence of untold misery. As tho remedy in question was the result of many years research as to what combination would be peculiarly cflertlve.ln restoring to men the strength they need, It would seem that all men suffering with any form of nervous weakness ought to write for such A remedy at once. A request to II. C. Olds, Hox 1712, Kilamnsoo, Mich., statiny that you are not sending for the proscription out of Idle curiosity, but that you wish to umbo use of the jncdicine by giving ita trial, will' be Rinwered protrlptly and without evidence as to where information came from. The prescription is sent free and although some may wonder how Mr. Olds can afford to give away his discovery, there is no doubt about the offer Itcing genuine. Unless tlin lee Drifts Aaahut Cliainhera Island or Or sell Island It Is Considered Certain That the Men Are Lost Great Property I.im. Mkxomike, Mloh , Jan. 18. Nine men tire clinging to a block of lee, a few rods square, that Is being driven out of Qroon bay into Lake Michigan by a fierce south erly gule. The wind Is blowing thirty miles an hour, and carries on a zero tem perature nnd nn occasional snow squall. The men are fishermen, clad only in the Dune too heavy clothing worn while tend ing their nets, and unless the toe floe has blown against Chambers Island or Green Island there is little possibility that they will survive. The doomed men are resi dents of the little Qshlng village of Mene liHunee, nnd their wives and children and neighbors aft on the mouutalns of lee that fringe tho beach, weeping. The missing men nre Nels Mattson, Otto Christiansen, Kd Hoffman, Lars Larson, Matt Ilnlgrou. Hoth Jeltson, John John son, Thomas Kiiudaou and Tom Lund. Yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock a strip of loe about ten miles long, extending south from the mouth of the Menominee river, broke from the west shore nnd was oarried rapidly toward tho east shore of Green bay, in the direction of Death's Door. When the Hoe left Its anchorage thir teen fishermen from Menekaunee were on the loe, tending their nets, but were so far away from the crack that by the time the alarm had been given the oraok was so wide they could not escape to the shore. SlgnnlB of distress were displayed, but It was some time before they were discov ered, and meantime the Ice had swept well toward the middle of the bay. Two yawls were manned and four men verebrought to the shore, but the others, fearing that help could not reach them f romMonlstlque or Menominee, had rushed to the eastern sldo of the loe, evidently Intending to at tempt to escape to Green Island, and thus reach Chambers Island or Deor Bluff, on tho east shore of Green bay. As the dark ness settled down, however, the loe could be seen oarrylng well Into the lake, and fishermen think esonpe Is impossible. Kstlnmt-es of tho number of men on tho loe Iloo vary, somo saying that fully forty mon wore curried out Into tho lake, but careful Inquiry reveals ' but nine men missing Besides the loss of life that now seems certain by the breaking up of the loe, fishermen will lose nets, fish shanties and Implements valued at many thousands ot dollars. It it a pity that the swett memory should ever be poisoned by the laim OI lll-nenur aim consequent utih.ippi ness. It is sad that the flower of a happy remembi.inee slmnld be obscurrd and kill ed by the noxious weeds of sickness ami sorrow. Too fre quently this is the case. A woman can not be a happy, helpful amiable wife who sutlers from weakness and disease at the very mainsprings of her n.iture. Pity may grow up to take its- place, but love itself seldom survives where this is the case. If a woman will, she may always hold her place in a man's mind nn& heart. If she will take the ri,ht care of herself in a womanly way she will never lose her rightful inheritance, a hus band's love.
