All that is required to bring iv beginning of the prosperity is a little more confideueo on the nart of tlio citizens, Gentlemen, wo have a good thing, Push it along. As ritooK of the fact that homo indus tries are protUablo it should be necessary only to point out the fact that every indus trial establishment in the town is working over time. Plouty of cheap fuel and water and an abundanco of labor are tho esseti' tlalB for success in such undertakings, and thbv can bo found right hero. We can also meet all requirements in railway facilities, bavins three of the leading roads of the country, and were all those facts spread properly abroad wo would have in people takingUdvantago of the tax exemp tion established by the Borough Council a few weeks ago. It is our opinion that a mistake is mado by some of the Republicans of this county in allowing the action of any particular representative on any bill before tho last Leeislature to become an issue vvitbiu the ranks at the present time. Any ropresen tatlve who may not have conducted him self In accordance with tho wishes of his constituents can bo dealt with moro prop crly when his term expires and ho seeks re-election, or election to another offlce Meanwhile let the Republicans as a whole work upon tho real Issues and lay a founda tion of harmony and earnestness that will benefit the party in its work during the next two years. Through Democratic inefficiency tho people havo suffered a loss of millions ot dollars. Reduction of values, loss of foreign trade, tho closing of homo manu facturing industries, by which thousands of people were thrown idle, havo brought about tho loss and depreciated tho Demo cratic party in tho eyes of the people and made them again turn to the Republican party with a hope of relief. But the Republicans must not imagine that, oven with this state of affairs in existence, they will havo clear sailing for tho next two years. At all times there must bo harmony in the ranks of any party that has an emergency to grasp. The Republican party and prosperity go hand in hand its history demonstrates this but internal troublos may result In a defeat of the party and deprive tho people of tho blessings it can give them when it i3 united. Harmony is essential at all times and it is hoped tho Republicans of this county will show that they realize this. A Monster Equestrian and Zoolocicnl Exhibition.
