John Howard, formerly sexton of St. David's church, Manayunk, died with all the ayruptoms of hydrophobia. Ho had been bitten by a small dog a few months ago, and since then has been in mortal terror lest he should have the dread diseno. Finally his fears grew so strong that the sight of water threw him Into convulsions, during one of which he died.
