If the attempt fails, the guilty parly, if ar jested'aud convicted, shall undergo a sentence of twenty yenis' Imprison ment at hard labor, The bill is a good one and has so much to commend it that It should beet me a law almost without debate, for train robbery has become so common that something should be done to check It, and it is "very clear that only heroio measures -will accomplish it. The Minnesota Club in St. Paul has dispensed with coal and usts electri city alone for cooking. She shows that ilatirons can be heated, griddle cakes browned, ham roasted, and every other culinary operation performed atgreat saving of time, cleanlicess, and labor. The electric heat Is applied by merely hooking on a cord to the utensil itself, whether broiler, pot, or bakepan. Then you switch on the current, and the cooking begins.
