William Bent, ode of the oldest and most respected of our townsmen, died at his home on West Cherry streot this morr. ing. Ho was 61 years of age and had been ill several weeks. He was a sufferer from minors' asthma. William Miller, formorly a' cigar maker of town, died at his home in Delano Mon day night. His funeral took pl&ce this afternoon, the remains coming to town on tho'l:40 Lehigh Valley train. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. The Washington Beneficial Society, of which tho deceased was a momber, had chargo of the funeral. The funeral of William Williams, the fire boa who was killed in a slope of one of the Park collieries yesterday, will take place on Friday, 8th inst. The funeral will leave Park Place at 1:16 p. m. and arrive in town, via1 Lehigh Valley R. R.. at 1:40. The remains will be received at the depot by members of Washington Camp, No. 112, P.
