arranged by ono of our local secrotsociotius
and will be held in August next. Thirty
or forty charming young ladies will sorvo
tho patrons with tlio delicacies of the sea
son on Japanese platos, carried on Japanoso
trays, and a Japaneto napkin will bo pro-
lonlyd to each, Tho ladies will bo nltired
in Japanoso gowns and havo their lioad-dros-
arranged a la Japanwo. Tho hall
will be profusely and hanlsomely docor
ated with Japanoso lanterns and parasols,
In fact everything will bo Japaneo, from
top to bottom.

W. 11. Llewellyn, tho painter and decor
ator of town, ha9 just receivod tho largest

four largo school buildings in town and a
