Davison, of No. 379 Gif- ford Ave:, San Jose, Cal, says: “The worth of Electric Bitters as a general { family remedy, for headache, bilious- ness and torpor of the liver and bawels is 8o pronounced that I am prompted to say a word in its favor, for the bene- fit of those seeking relief from such afflictions. Nicholas Murphy, of Grantsville, Md., has brought suit against the Pittsburg Coal Company for damages in the sum of $60,000. The suit was brought on account of two of Mr. Murphy’s sons losing their lives in the Darr mine dis- aster, last winter, when a gas explosion occurred through the alleged criminak carelessness of the aforesaid company. According to the verdict given by the Coroner’s jury which held an. inquest over the disaster, Mr. Murphy has a very strong case. His friends all hope to see him win, for his claim is gener- ally regarded as a just one. His sons who met death at the Darr mine were young men in the full flower and vigor of their manhood, and also young men of far more than average intelligence. WHY JAMES LEE GOT WELL. E.J. EGAN, Salisbury, Pa. Heart Strength Heart Strength, or Heart Weakness, means Nerve Btrength, or Nerve Weakness—nothing more. Pos ftively, not one weak heart in a hundred is, in i$ self, actually diseased. It is almost always = hidden tiny little nerve that really is all at fault. This obscure nerve—the Cardiac, or Heart Nerve simply needs, and must have, more power, more stability, more controlling, more gov strength. Without that the Heart must continue to fail, and the stomach and kidneys also have these same controlling nerves. This clearly explains why, as a medicine, Dr, Bhoop’s Restorative has in the past done so much for weak and ailing Hearts. Dr. Shoop first sought She cause of all this painful, palpitating, suffocat- ing heart distress. Dr. Shoop’s Restorative—this popular prescription—is alone directed to these weak and wasting nerve centers. It builds; ft strengthens; it offers real, gennine heart help.
