For many years it has been supposed that Catarrh of the Stomach caused indigestion and dyspepsia, but the truth is exactly the opposite. Indigestion causes catarrh. Re- peated attacks of Indigestion inflames the mucous membranes lining the stomach and exposes the nerves of the stomach, thus caus- | ing the glands to secrete mucin instead of the juices of natural digestion. This is called Catarrh of the Stomach. ‘Kodol Dyspepsia Cure | relieves all inflammation of the mucous | membranes lining the stomach, protects the nerves, and cures bad breath, sour risings, | a sense of fullness after eating, indigestion, | dyspepsia and all stomach troubles. “Kodol Digests What You Eat Make the Stomach Sweet. Last Sunday George DeLozier and the editor drove over to Sand Patch, where the day was spent at the hospi- table , where all people are trent most: kindly con- in way [Hotel Farner sidera rtained a never tu uo. & cei, Mrs. favorite relative of the | (y. While - visiting with these highly esteemed friends, last Sunday, we also had the pleasure of meeting there one of our schoolmates of the good old days of yore, namely, Mrs. Ellen Hetzel, of Connellsville, Pa., who is a sister of Mrs. Farner’'s. Mrs. Hetzel had her only daughter with her, a very comely young lady who seems to possess all the many good qualities of her mother. It did us much good to talk over our . old school days with Mrs. Hetzel. Both of us used to go to school in the old white school house that was pulled down a few years ago to make room for Salisbury’s present high school building, and those were indeed good old days. Mrs. Farner was our teach- er, one term, and she was a good teacher, too. In fact we never had one that we liked better. In the afternoon we drove over the mountain to the east end of Sand Patch ~ tunnel, accompanied by Mr. Farner and 1 Howard Farner was a seems to hav good wi effects sees sition. our old frien DeLozier, who for some months has been general utility man about the Hotel Farner. say that DeLozier is a splendid hotel man himself, and we never saw him in a more jovial mood, or looking better. His position is a very responsible one, as he is located on the most dangerous divisivn of the Baltimore & tem, and whenever anything goes wrong on the treacherous Sand Patch grade, il is never Bowman’s fault. The average man cannot afford to employ a physician for every slight ail- ment or injury that may oceur in his family, nor can be afford to neglect them, as so slight an injury as the geratch of a pin has been known to cause the loss of a limb. Hence every man must from necessity be his own doctor for this class of ailments. Suc- cess often depends upon prompt treat- ment, which can only be had when suitable medicines are kept at hand.
