Much interest was manifested through out the convention by the large at- tendance at all the sessions. The papers showed careful prepara- tion and fairly bristled with points for discussion. which were taken and dis- cussed with, at times, considerable animation and tact. These conventions are annual meet- ings in the various districts of the con- ference for the discussion of such ques- tions as the.above. The good people of Salisbury opened their homes and entertained the- visit- ing ministers most royally. for which a most generous vote of thanks was ren- dered. The 3d Tuesday of May, 1903, was made the time, and Salix, Cambria Co., Pa., the place of the next convention. Like a Drowning Man. “Five years ago a disease the doctors called dyspepsia took such hold of me that I ok scarcely go,” writes Geo. S. Marsh, well known attorney of No- cona, Tex. “I took quantities of pep- sin and other medicines, but nothing helped me. As a drowning man grabs at a straw, I grabbed at Kodol. felt an improvement at once, and after a few bottles am sound and well.” Ko- dol is the only preparation which ex- actly reproduces the natural digestive juices and consequently is the only one which digests any good food and cures any form of stomach trouble. E. H Miller. Addison News. Howard Wright was at Erie, last week, representing Hiawatha Lodge, No. 444, at the Grand Lodge of I. O. 0. F. He reports a good time. Last week Adam Kemp, who when a boy was a resident of Somerfield, died at Toluca, Ill. He was a nephew of John Wright, late of Salisbury, and was married to a daughter of Jeremiah Wright, of Addison. A wife and four children survive him. Next on program will be Decora- tion day, and everybody is fixing up their lots in the cemetery for the oc- casion. J. A. Berkey, Esq., will be in Addison on that day to make an ad- dress in behalf of the old veterans. As Mr. Berkey is a candidate for Congress, it will be a good time to come and meet the many honest Republicans who will assemble here. But old Addison will be all right for J. A. Berkey, anyway. A good barber is badly needed here, and a good man in that line would do well here. For particulars write to E. Largent, Addison, Pa.
