The Middleburg Orchestra furnished
music for the e vening entertainments
Miss Algie Lambersos recited "The
Gypsy Flower Girl." Bhe Is a brilliant
entertainer and a perfect impersonator
and won the applause and approbation
of all.

Introduced and spoke on " Uncle Sam
and the Twentieth Century."
The doctor chased Uncle Sam over
the vast domain of his extensive pos
sessions and filled hi her i with infor
mation of his boundless re ources. The
speaker then developed the political,
economical ami industrial conditions
of thceountry. lie demonstrated him
self not only master of the subject mat
ter of his treatise, but of the language
as well. His command of words is ex
tensive and his diction is beyond a

spoke on " Macbeth."
Institute adjourned.

personage In the town of Selinsgrove,
having been duly prolmtcd and letters
testamentary granted to Howard Davis
Schnure and H. "Harvey Schooli, of Se
linsgrove, executors; th' natural desire
of her frieSats to know the disposition
she made of her property can le grati
fied. First directing her debts and funeral
expenses to be paid, and expressing a
wish to !e buried according to the forms
and ceremonies of the Protestant Epis
copal church. She bequeaths to her
sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Van Dyke a
leather covered rocking chair which
was thrown from a window of the Tuil
Ierles when Louis XVI was guillotined,
brought from there by Capt Gallager
and presented to Miss Snyder's and
Mrs. Van Dyke's grandmother, and In
case of her death the chair and the mar
ble bust of Minerva, are to go to Mrs.
Van Dyke's heirs. To James Smith if
in her employ fifty dollars. To Venti

Amelia Van Dyke fifty dollars, her
shawls ami any her clothing Miss Van

nephew of Col. Alex McClure, Editor
of the Philadelphia Time, his mother
being a sister of the noted Journalist,

fever in cattle. These are only a few
of the topics prepared, but they are a
specimen of w hat the breeders who at
