Tlio fiiet is every Republican owes Homething to his partythat nometliing is his voto for its nominees. As long ns you have no morn than ouo voto you have no right to become charitable ami give that away which belong to another, ami which you are almost in duty bound to ilelivpr n proper - UOJ'.."' e of your promise at the primary. No sir. Pay your own obligations before you liquidate the obligations of others. That is manil.v, honor ble, upright. Ue just beforo being charitable. '.. Taylor (lemberling, our Repub lican candidate for Associate Judge, is out every day calling upon his many friends throughout the county and making assurance doubly sure of their support. Mr. CJemberling has not only been a faithful sup porter of lie publican principles, but a hard worker for the party, and a candidate more deserving of tho hearty and united support of tho whole Republican ticket cannot bo found in the field. Voters, you know your duty. Let nothing in duce you to waver or fail. J. C. liowersox and C. F. Moycr, the Republican candidates for Aud itors, aro entitled to your hearty support. Mr. Rowersox's elliciency to till tho requirements of tho ollico has proven itself by the hervices al ready perfoiiucd in tho office to which ho now asks a re-election. Mr. Moycr is editor of u newspaper hence Lis ability is not questioned ; and while editor of that paper ho has always been faithful to the party and responded promptly to its calls, which entitles him to tho support due a truo blue Republican. Fell and Jackson, the Republican candidates for Supreme Judge and Mato lreasurer, mioum rcecivo n largo Republicau majority in this county, as their voto in the State will bo tho political straw that shows tho current of sentiment in the politics of the country. The endorse ment of tho Republican party is suf ficient evidence of tho good charac ter of the gentlemen, and your voto on tho 7th of November will show whether you endorse the course pur sued by tho Democratic administra tion or not. This is tho opportunity for the poor hut independent man to tJap hack nt the Democratic ad ministration and show by his voto on the State ticket that, although a Democrat, he does not endorse tho course pursued by the present Pres ident. This is an opportunity that comes only once it year, and it is tho only time the politicians give heed to your voice. Send ono home right from'tho shoulder. Vote for Marand Kothrock, the Republican candidate for Coroner. He is an experienced and RucceRftful physician, a contestant party man, and has filled one term of the oftice to which he aspires with (treat credit. He is the last man on the ticket, but by no means the least important. Vote for Doc. llothrock. There is probably not a man in the county better suited for the office of Sheriff than Alfred Specht. our pres ent candidate, and there probably never was a man out for oftice who was ns sure of petting it as ho nevertheless, no ouo has ever heard him express such assurance. This is due to his extremo rescrveduess. Careful of words is au important quality in an officer, and this coup led with the other hteiling qualities he possesses will make him a typical Sheriff for Snyder county. Tho world forgives a man every thing but failure. There is nothing that succeeds like success, and peo ple admire pcrseverenee, pluck and push. This is what has brought C. C. Seebold, our candidate for Treas urer, ho prominently before the peo ple. He asks for nothing but what he thinks he ought to have, mid then he goes for it in a mamuT that shows that he is in dead earnest, and the result is that he generally wins. He is the "nonpareil" in the political arena having never been defeated, and there is no danger of his not making a neck im.l neck race in num ber of votes with the most popular candidate mi our ticket. Tho Snyder county Republican ticket this year has only three vet erans of the late war on its face, thus showing that they are growing fewer in number at each succeeding election. Two of these veterans are applicants for the same office that of County Commissioners. Their names aro Thomas Herbster and James F.rdley and they will, of course, bo elected, for what crooked paths in politics could lead to other results? They aro gentlemen of unquestioned honor, and are above tho Average in intelligence. They have good judgment, and, above all, they have doubly earned the recog nition they have received from the party by their long years of loyalty and faithful work for tho same. Stand by them and don't trade in asmuch fiat in such a trade the Re publican party has all to lose and .thing to pain. How's This I Wi'inTiT on' lliimlri''!
