This, in brief, Is to exhibit around the rural fireside sample goods of varying manufacture, but always a good qual lty and design. Jacob Fees, Jr. has Bucciiined to the ravages of dis sease and responded to the call of the angels of death. He died on Satur day morning, after a lingering Illness of about four yeurs. So far as I am aware, physicians had a wide diver sity of opinion in regard to tho real character of his disease. He was generally regarded, however, being afflloted with consumption. He had been confined to his bed the greater part of the time during several weeks preceding his death. During the last few days he could not breathe when Ivtng and was obliged to sit on a chair with his forekead resting on a stand, in which position he breathed his Inst. He bore his affliction with the utmost calmness, not uttering a groan. He was an honest, exemplary man, enlovlnir the esteem of the entire community. Ho practically lived without enemies.
