Hann and other relatives in this community. John i3 just a your1 man, but he has seen three yea:3 service in the 12th U. S. Cavalry, two year3 on the State Constabulary force, and 13 now serving on tne special po lice force in Pittsburgh. A letter from Davidson Flora received by M. M. Dender a few days ago says that Mr. Flora's sister, Mrs. Waddell, now in the 100th year of her age met with an accident on the 1st day of April. As she was getting out of bed, her foot caught in a rug and she fell breaking her left leg above the knee. The fracture was set successfully and she is doing well. Mr. and Mrs. George R. Win ter and children Guy and Mary all of Everett motored to Mc ConneDburg last Sunday and spent the day with Mr. Winter's sister Mrs. Chas. D. Hixson. They were accompanied by Mr. Chas. Hixson who also spent the day with his family on East Lin coin way, Charlie is improving his property by building a front porch to his residence.
