Gordon all near Sharpe, were shopping in' town Thursday of last week. Miss Nettie Mellott entertained a small party of .little friends Monday evening after they had enjoyed an outing at Dougley in the afternoon. Elizabeth Reisner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Reisner, Ship pensburg, is spending this week in the homes of her uncles Jacob and George in McConnellsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wishart drove over from Pittsburgh in their car Tuesday, and spent the time until Thursday in McCon nellsburg renewing old acquaint ances. Miss Rose Fisher, of Chambers burg, spent the time from last Saturday evening until Monday morning with her mother in the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Woollet Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rotz, of thi3 place, spent the time from Saturday evening until Sunday evening with the former's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rotz in Chambersburg. John Deshong and sister Mar tha, of Licking Creek township, spent Saturday night in the home of Mrs. Lucinda Clevenger, and on Sunday attended the "Bush meeting" at Jugtown. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hurley, near Harrisonville, were early morning callers in town last Mon day. They came in their new Ford touring car purchased last week from Dr. McClain.
