A Woman's Letter.
Ytflfn, It Is generally admitted,
WTtte better letters than men.
M Marre! Provost has discovered
Ci reason for this superiority. "The
eiflrnis meaning Is never the one we
should read Into a woman's letter.
Tisrn Is always a veiled meaning.
V.'Ofran makes use of a letter Just
as she employs a glnnco or a smile.
In way that Is rarefully thought out,
M with an ee to effect. And, after
all, does a woman's hat serve to cover
hef head? Itoes a woman's parasol
imp off the sun? Why, then, should
a woman's letter serve to convey her
real thoughts to the person ad
irssfifd. Just like the letters of some
hosest grocer, who writes, 'I send you
Hts pounds of coffee,' because he
mil; does send you five pounds of
sefce."
